Mysterium was released in 2019 on UK label Derelict State Records.
The album has recently been put onto Spotify with the track Nemesis already getting over 100k plays.
The album is a dark, haunting and evocative collage of sounds, arrangements and lyrics. I was trying to go for an album which was essentially slow, reflective and brooding, with much of the tempo and mood being more laid back.
It takes the darker forms of trip hop and electronica and merges it with industrial music, industrial hip hop, spoken word and dub. To break the album up I made the track Rebel Spirit which is more inspired by punk music. It’s faster, more aggressive and has that rebellious attitude. This track helped to give a bit of edge to the album and also add some contrast.
